The world of therapy can be confusing, especially if you haven't felt much need for counselling before. It's associated with treatment for depression, anxiety and stress, but it can be powerful for anyone wanting to understand themselves better, grow better mental states, or deal with difficulties in their life, work or family.
I have specialist knowledge for trauma, bereavement, prolonged grief and relationship issues, and many other areas of life.
I am a calm and experienced listener. We'll meet, you will tell me about yourself, and we'll explore together and work together to change your experience for the better.
Some change requires a longer course of counselling, to help process and untangle the past and the present. A short series of sessions is useful too. This requires a different approach, and we can discuss this in the initial assessment.
