Gender: male
Location: Forest Row, RH18 5HN

Therapy Modality: These are troubled times - I offer a space for peace and reflection, helping to understand how the way we react to what life throws at us can make things even harder. My practice is a mindfulness-based humanistic integrative therapy, called Core Process Psychotherapy. It combines Western approaches to psychotherapy with the wisdom and awareness of Buddhism, providing a contemplative and psycho-spiritual approach.

Services Offered: Depending on your need, I can provide short-term counselling or open-ended psychotherapy. You may suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, you may feel anxious, or depressed; you may be affected by psychosexual issues, including male impotence; by grief and bereavement, especially around neonatal deaths; living with illness, especially HIV/AIDS, or caring for a loved one with a mental health problem. You may be going through problems coming from your multicultural background, having identity issues and trouble at reintegration. I have a particular interest in people with an international background, whose experience has left them burnt out. Although I’m a doctor, I tend not to work much with medical diagnoses. What matters, is that you’re finding it difficult to get on with your life and are in need of some help.

Fees: I apply a sliding scale. Depending on your personal circumstances, from a minimum of 60 UKP to a maximum of 100 UKP.

Qualification: Medical Doctor, MA in Core Process Psychotherapy
