We are accredited by BACP and have a wide range of clients. All prospective counsellors should be qualified or at the beginning of their second year of Diploma training.
We currently have 24 counsellors in 6 supervision groups who meet fortnightly.
A highly respected professional counselling and training organisation, we offer one-year certificate (entry level) and further two-year advanced (diploma level) psychodynamic trainings (part time). We also offer up to three years of counselling for people aged 18 and over, from all walks of life. Clients pay contributions towards the cost of their counselling, based on what they can afford.

We work with children and young people ages 11-25yrs in Brighton & Hove, Sussex and West Surrey. Volunteer Counsellors practice in Secondary schools, 6th Form Colleges and in Community settings. The clinical placement scheme is open to qualified counsellors and counsellors in training who have completed a minimum of 1 year of a Level 4 Counselling Diploma or equivalent.
Volunteer Counsellors need to be in (or starting) the second year of a diploma course, or equivalent. We prefer those with over 25 hours counselling experience and minimum of 30 hours personal therapy. We have 32 counsellors in eight fortnightly supervision groups. Qualified counsellors welcome. We offer free counselling for young people aged 14-24 in east and mid Surrey. We work at venues in Redhill, Reigate, Merstham, Oxted, Horley, Tadworth, Leatherhead and Dorking. We have a team of around 25 volunteer counsellors who offer 3-6 hours counselling per week.

The placement would be suitable for a 2nd year trainee working from a psychodynamic model.
Supervision is provided. The trainee would engage in counselling with women around issues to do with sexual health such as sexual abuse, pregnancy etc. This is time limited up to 40 sessions.

RISE is a medium sized local charity specialising in supporting women, children and LGBT people who have been victims of domestic abuse or violence.
