What's on in Sussex
If you are a practitioner we would like you to join in and spend some time thinking about your own self-care along with colleagues.
Each year we have hosted the conference, we have attracted speakers who talk to a broad range of topics within the field of working with Practitioner Self-Care and this year is no exception. Each presenter will have a 60 minute dialogue with John Wilson that will be available to view live on Zoom. We look forward to thoughtful questions and a lively discussion as participants and presenters engage in rich dialogue around the topics offered.
We are pleased that Nick Luxmore, author and school counsellor is able to join us to facilitate two workshops for us over the weekend of Sat 17th/Sun 18th Nov. This will be a rare chance to work with Nick in Surrey and we have a few spaces left.

One day workshop facilitated by Dr Maggie Turp on the research and findings of working with self harm and suicidal clients
Dr Maggie Turp’s fascinating workshop offers space for clinicians to explore the relationship between self-harm & suicidal behavior, & how individuals who self-harm conceptualise their own experience, attending to both the aetiology & function of self-harming behaviour. Amongst other aspects of self harm, the workshop offers space for clinical reflection & a model for self-harm will be presented for discussion.
CPD Certificates available to attenders.
